Anton Vasiliadis is a Scotland-based sound designer, technician, and multimedia artist working across immersive performance, experimental audio, and interactive installations. With a background in both music production and sound design, Anton combines tactile technology with emotive soundscapes, crafting experiences that sit at the intersection of theatrical, sonic, and digital arts.

A graduate of the University of Edinburgh’s MSc in Sound Design and holding a BA in Music Production & Engineering, Anton’s work is grounded in technical precision and conceptual exploration. His practice includes spatial sound design, interactive systems, and creating responsive environments that blur the boundaries between performer, audience, and space. He continues to develop skills in immersive audio, programming, and visual systems, recently completing a certification in data science.

In 2025, Anton was awarded an Explore grant from Immersive Arts UK, supporting his development in immersive and interactive technologies. His growing body of work explores how sound, touch, and movement can create meditative, transformative spaces.

As part of the Verbena Blue Collective, he co-created installations such as Gemütlig, a tactile sound environment using contact microphones, rope, and Max/MSP to evoke isolation and connection through vibration and light, and an eco-audio walking tour of Queen's Park in Glasgow, developed for RotU’s (en)countering crisis + re:making futures series.

His personal works include Avoid Void, an introspective ambient album exploring memory and emotion through generative textures and quiet rhythm. He also contributed original music and sound recording to the short film Body Knots, directed by Kevin Pickering, which explores liminality and psychological fragmentation.

In addition to his artistic practice, Anton has worked extensively as a live technician and AV specialist at venues including Summerhall, Queen’s Hall, and major Scottish festivals such as Sonica, Manipulate and Science festival.
