Gemutlig

Gemutlig is a tactile sound installation by Ruben and Anton of Verbena Blue Collective. Placing lamp-making at the center of a cosy foliage, this atmospheric and interactive installation asks; can you feel embraced? Would you feel cradled on a green and wet lullaby?

With Gemultig, we would like to (re)present the feelings of isolation we have all experienced throughout the pandemic, but also wanted to show the ways in which we have been maintaining some form of communication. By bringing audiences into a greeny and dark comfort zone, we hope it is recognisable that like plants, we are all connected in a way.
